The map shows the local area with Spoleto in the bottom left corner. Going N out of Spoleto you will see an orange road to the right which becomes dotted (a tunnel 4 km long which takes you into the Valnerina).
From the Roma airports :
Take the Roma ring road (GRA) to the A1 exit to Firenze and then follow this northwards. It becomes a pay motorway after a while which you exit at the turn off for Orte and then follow the signs for Terni along dual carraigeway. The road by-passes Terni and continues to Spoleto but becomes a narrower and slower road uphill. At Spoleto continue through the tunnel underneath the Rocca until the road becomes dual carraigeway again and take the very first exit (almost as soon as you get on it) signposted to Norcia and Cascia.
From the north:
Follow the signs for Spoleto on the new dual carraigeway until you come to the turn off for Norcia and Cascia, then follow this into the tunnel.
From the tunnel:
As you exit the tunnel, follow the road round to the left to a junction where you turn right, still towards Norcia and Cascia. Pass the first turning on the right to Sant'Anatolia but take the next one on the left at Castel San Felice and continue up the hill on a winding road. At the top of this road, turn right and go downhill slightly but take the first turning on the left (easy to miss, just around a left hand bend). Go uphill again and as you near the top you will see Geppa and the pool on your right. At the top of this road turn right then right again and you have arrived.
